I've been watching the downfall of neoconservative shill Jeff Gannon with great joy. Gannon is a "reporter" for Talon News well know for asking loaded pro-Bush questions at White House Press conferences. An example:
After a few months of this bullshit, the people at MediaMatters.org, started asking "who the fuck is this guy", and "who the fuck let him in here?" Bloggers at Daily Kos and World O' Crap made some interesting discoveries by tracing back the domain jeffgannon.com. Jeff Gannon is really James D. "JD" Guckert and Mr. Guckert owns domains called "HotMilitaryStud.com" and "MilitaryEscortsM4M.com". Furthermore Guckert's AOL profile picture looks, for lack of a better term, really fucking gay.
If those domains and that photo are any indication, prior to his press whore gig for the Bush Administration, he may have been a whore for an entirely different clientele. Shortly after all of this information came to light, the douchebag formerly known as"Jeff Gannon" issued a statement on his website, officially resigning from the field of "journalism". His employer, Talon News, then went about clumsily erasing his existence from their site. Despite their misguided hope that this whitewash would free them from the laserlike focus of bullshit-detection.com, all of his articles are still available in Google caches and on archive.org. Nice try dickheads.
Stories like this are increasingly rare. The complete and utter destruction of this purveyor of Bullshit, fills me with hope for the future. However, it is disappointing to me that it took a gay sex scandal to bring this "Hot Military Stud" to his knees (metaphorically speaking). This was a fake reporter, working for a fake paper, using a fake name, asking fake questions to the President of the United States. How the hell did he get through Secret Service screenings with his false identity? Why have other member of the Latte-Drinking Secular Jew Liberal Media been so slow to recognize a phony in their midst? Why is this guy being erased from history like Marty McFly? Why is it worse to set up a website providing steamy Man4Man escorts, than to set up a website that whores for George Bush's backward agenda?
